Punjab Home Guard Jobs Age limits:
As 14-10-2016 for all the posts age limit is 18-37 years and age relaxation is applicable for the reserved candidates.
Educational Qualifications for Punjab Home Guard Recruitment Notification 2016:
Clerk- Bachelors degree from a recognized university with 120 hours of experience in computer usage or IT or Desktop Publishing or DOEACC ‘O’ level certificate.
Corporal Instructor-Matriculation, 3 years of experience as a home guard and NCC A certificate or Home Guard or Civil Defense certificate.
Corporal Armourer-Ex Serviceman/Police qualified armourers
Bandsman- Ex-Serviceman or Police trained bandsman knowing Side drum, Brass Drum and Bag Pipe with 2 years of experience.
Class-IV – Middle Pass from a recognized board/school.
Pay Scale:
For Clerk-10300-34800 with GP of 3200/-
For Corporal Instructor, Corporal Armourer, Bandsman Pay scale is Rs.5910-20200 with GP of 1900/-
For Class IV Posts 4900-10680 with 1650 GP
Application/Examination Fee:
Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST) for Class IV posts and for all other posts Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- in case of SC/ST). Candidates can pay the fee through generated chalan or SBP or can pay through online using credit card or debit card.
Selection Process for Punjab Home Guard Jobs Recruitment 2016:
Selection for these vacancies will be held based on written test, physical efficiency test, physical standards test and skill test.
For Clerk post the person will have to qualify a typing test in Punjabi and English on computer at a speed of 30 WPM (thirty words per minute).
