Pay Scale for Gujarat Education Department Senior Clerk Recruitment 2016:
Pay Scale is as per the pay grade of Class III Employees of Gujarat State
Age Limits for the Gujarat SSSB Education Department Senior Clerk:
The candidate’s age limits are 18-35 years. Candidates dates of birth should be in between the dates of 11-11-1981 and 11-11-1998. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved candidates and women candidates as per the norms of Gujarat state government up to 5 years.
GSSSB Clerk Vacancy required Qualification:
Candidates must have qualified Graduation in an one the Stream of Arts or Science or Technology.
The candidate must have knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi. Computer Knowledge also required.

Written Test Pattern and Syllabus for GSSSB Senior Clerk Recruitment:
Written Test conducted in two papers.
Paper 1: Written test will be conducted for 200 marks with two hours duration.
There is 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.
Paper 1 will consists of 6 topics.
1. Gujarati Literature and History-Marks
2. Gujarati Grammar-25 Marks
3. English Grammar-25 Marks
4. Current Affairs in India and Gujarat, General Knowledge, Aptitude Quantitative techniques-50 Marks
5. Knowledge of computer usage-25 Marks (For complete details see appendix G in official notification)
6. Indian administration and Constitution-50 Marks
Paper 2:
Computer Proficiency Test:
This test will be conducted for 100 marks with 90 minutes duration.
Computer Proficiency Test consists of 3 types.
1. Gujarati Typing Test
2. English Typing Test
3. Computer practical test on usage of computer and about knowledge of computer (MS Office, Excel-Spread Sheets with Arithmetic functions, Power Point, Error/Spell checking)
Syllabus For Computer Practical Test:
1 Preparing a note in word file-10 Marks
2 Preparing a Power Point slide for presentation based on data provided-15 Marks
3 Preparing an Excel spreadsheet and answering an arithmetic problem-15 Marks
4 E-mails (with attachments)-10 Marks
Online Application Fee:
Rs.100/- to be paid in E post offices and update the same online. No fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
