Qualification Details for AP Edcil Recruitment 2026:

Candidates possessing any one of the following qualifications are eligible: 

1. M.Sc. / M.A. in Psychology o Applied Psychology o Counselling Psychology o Clinical Psychology o Child Psychology o Adolescent Psychology 

2. M.Sc. / M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work 

3. M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing 

4. Master of Social Work (MSW) With specialization in Medical & Psychiatric Social Work or Counselling 

5. B.A. / B.Sc. (Honours) in Psychology

For Mental Health Counselors

• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Telugu (reading and writing).
  • Expertise in face-to-face counseling, career guidance, and mental health support.

Pay Scale

• Appointments are contractual, with the initial term lasting until March 31, 2026, extendable based on performance and requirements till March 2026.
• Salary details will be as per EdCIL and AP Samagra Shiksha Project guidelines.
• Average salary will be Rs.30000/- per month

Selection Process for AP Edcil Mental Health Counselors Recruitment 2026

1. Screening:
   • Shortlisting based on educational qualifications and experience.
2. Written Test:
   • Candidates will undergo a written examination.
3. Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates from the test will be called for an interview.
4. Final Selection:
   • A waiting list will be maintained, and replacements will be drawn from it as needed.
