APDSC Notification 2025: The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has officially released the APDSC 2025 Notification to fill a total of 16,347 teacher posts across the state. The recruitment will be conducted for various categories of teachers in Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipal, Tribal, Residential, and Welfare Schools through AP Mega DSC 2025.

• SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher): 6,509

• School Assistants (All Subjects): 7,487

• PET (Physical Education Teacher): 92

Eligibility Criteria for APDSC 2025

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed relevant academic qualifications like Intermediate, Degree, PG, B.Ed, D.Ed, DEl.Ed, TET/CTET, depending on the post applied.

• TET Qualification: Mandatory for School Assistant, SGT, TGT posts. 20% weightage is given to TET marks.

• General: 18 to 44 years

• SC/ST/BC/EWS: Relaxation up to 49 years

• PwD Candidates: Relaxation up to 54 years

Selection Process for AP Mega DSC 2025

• Paper 1 (English Language Proficiency Test) – Only for Principal, PGT, TGT

  • Qualifying Marks:

    • OC/BC/EWS: 60 Marks

    • SC/ST/PwD: 50 Marks

• Paper 2 (Main Exam) – 100 Marks

  • Applicable for all posts

  • For TGT/SGT/School Assistant: 20% weightage from TET
