KARTET Exam 2024– Apply Online for Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test:
Karnataka Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education department for the first time KARTET Applications are receiving through online mode for the recruitment of Teachers in Primary Schools and Elementary Schools of Karnataka State. So the candidates should upload the scanned images of photograph and signature (in JPG format only) at the time of filling the online application form.
KARTET Exam-2024 Age Limits:
Age limits are applicable as per the government norms of Karnataka State. For more information regarding age limits verify the age at the time of online application submission.
For Teachers Recruitment 2024 general age limits of Karnataka State is 18-35 years.
But to apply for KARTET 2024 there is no upper age limit.
Educational Qualification for Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test-2024:
For Paper I Primary Stage Classes of 1 to 5- 10+2/PUC/Senior Secondary with Diploma in 2 years Elementary Education or 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education or BA/B.Sc Graduation with diploma in 2 years Elementary Education or 2 years Diploma in Special Education. For Paper II Elementary Stage Classes of 6 to 8- Graduation with Diploma in 2 years Elementary Education or 1 year (B.Ed) Bachelor of Education or BElEd or PUC/Senior Secondary with 4 years BA Ed, B.Sc Ed from a recognized institute.
For Both The papers:
PUC/Senior Secondary with 4 years BA Ed, B.Sc Ed OR
B.A/B.Sc with 2 years diploma in Elementary Education.
Note: TTC Course Pursuing candidates are eligible to apply for KARTET 2024.
Karnataka TET Exam 2024 Application Fee:
For Primary and Elementary Classes TET Level 1 Teachers general, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b candidates-Rs.700/- and
for SC/ST/Cat 1 candidates-Rs.350/-
For both papers exam fee is Rs.1000 for general, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b candidates and Rs.500 for SC/ST/Cat1 candidates.
Karnataka Teachers KARTET 2024 Exam Pattern and Exam Syllabus:
Paper 1 Primary Classes Teachers Exam Pattern for KARTET Exam 2024:
First Paper (For Classes I to V) Primary stage exam will be conducted for 150 Marks with 2.30 hours duration.
Structure and content (All Compulsory)
1. Child Development and Pedagogy-30 MCQ’s 30 marks
2. Language -1- 30 MCQ’s 30 marks
3. Language -2- 30 MCQ’s 30 marks
4. Maths-30 MCQ’s 30 marks
5. Environmental Studies- 30 MCQ’s 30 marks
Total – 150 multiple choice questions 150 marks.
Paper 2 Elementary Classes Teacher Exam Pattern for KARTET Exam 2024:
First Paper (For Classes VI to VIII) Primary stage exam will be conducted for 150 Marks with 2.30 hours duration.
1. Child Development and Pedagogy (Compulsory)-30 MCQ’s 30 marks
2. Language -1(Compulsory) – 30 MCQ’s 30 marks
3. Language -2(Compulsory) -30 MCQ’s 30 marks
4. Maths and Science (For all Maths and Science Teachers) OR Social Science (For all Social Science Teachers)– 60 MCQ’s- 60 Marks
