UGC NET Results 2024: The NTA has made a crucial announcement on the results of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test December 2023 (UGC-NET), which is awaited by lakhs of candidates. The results of the exam will be released on January 17. As per the schedule, the results of the exam were to be declared on January 10 (Wednesday). Recently, due to the impact of Cyclone MiGzam in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, another test was conducted in the interest of the candidates there. Due to this, it has been decided to release the results on January 17, the NTA said in a statement on Tuesday. The NTA conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year for lecturership (assistant professor) and junior research fellowship in universities across the country. The exam was conducted in online mode from December 6 to 19 last year. A total of 83,292,9 candidates appeared for the exam, which was conducted at examination centres in 45 cities across the country for a total of 918 subjects.
