TS Anganwadi Jobs News: The Central government has increased the educational qualification for anganwadi teacher and worker/Helper posts. So far, these part-time appointments were made as a class 10 qualification, but henceforth it has been fixed as at least an intermediate qualification. Angawadi jobs notification for the 5111 posts in Telangana will be released in month of Aug 2022. Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit, rules of reservation and documents verification for Anganwadi Worker/Teacher and Helper posts. For Anganwadi Supervisor written exam will be conducted. In this regard, ‘Mission Saksham Anganwadi, Poshan Abhiyaan 2.0’ guidelines have been issued. As part of this, 2 lakh Anganwadi centres will be modernized in five years at the rate of 40,000 per annum.

New age limits for TS Anganwadi jobs:
Similarly, the minimum age for anganwadi recruitment has been reduced from 21 years to 18 years and the maximum age has been fixed at 35 years.
While the retirement age for women enrolled in anganwadi services has not been finalised, the state governments can decide. However, after the age of 65 years, he should not be in service under any circumstances.

With the new rules, 5,111 vacant posts of teachers and other posts in anganwadi centres in the state have been allowed to be filled. The staff working in these posts have been made honorary-paid workers.
50% posts are reserved for Working Teacher/Helper for Supervisor/Teacher Posts:
50 per cent of the anganwadi teacher posts will have to be filled up with those with five years of experience and working as anganwadi teachers.
50 per cent of the posts of supervisors should be filled up by anganwadi teachers with five years of service.
Appointments to these posts should be made as per the prescribed educational qualifications and service rules.
The reservation norms should be strictly followed in the recruitment of anganwadi supervisor, teacher and the respective posts.
