For Male-General/BC candidates Height is 168 cms, Chest 86 cms and for SC/ST/SCA 160 cms and chest 79cms.

The written text will consist of 600 marks having 2 papers.

Paper-1 will be conducted for 300 marks with 3 hours duration.

Paper-2 will be conducted for 300 marks with 3 hours duration.

3. Socio – Economic issues in India / Tamil Nadu

3. General Tamil / General English (SSLC Standard)

 Pay Scale for Tamilnadu Assistant Jailor Recruitment 2016: 

Pay band is Rs. 9300-34800+ Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

Application fees for Tamilnadu PSC Assistant Jailor Recruitment-2016:

The candidates have to pay the Rs.100/- towards examination fee.  One time registration fees Rs.50/- have to pay those who are not registered with TNPSC which is valid for 5 years. If you have already registered and having registration Id there is no need to pay the registration fee again.

The candidates have to pay the exam fees through SBI/Indian Bank chalana. And chalana details must have updated the same in application form online.

There is no exam fee for the SC/ST/PH candidates.

For BC Graduates up to 3 chances exam fees is exempted.
