TN SET Exam Notification 2021:On behalf of the University Graduation commission of India, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar, Tamil Nadu has been published notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in various colleges and Universities of Tamil Nadu. The TNSET Exam will be held in the month of August -2021. Last date for applying online for these posts are 07-07-2021.The TNSET Exam will be held in 12 various cities of Tamil Nadu for the 26 subjects of teaching Assistant Professors. The result of the TNSET Exam will be available on the web site of http://www.tnsetau.in/. The TNSET will be consisting of 3 papers. All the papers are objective type. Three exams will be conducted on the same day.

Eligibility Criteria for the Assistant Professor Posts through TNSET Exam-2021:
The candidates must have the 55% in their master’s degree and reserved category students must have the 50% of marks.
Those who are appearing for the final year of PG or waiting for the results they also can apply for this TNSET Examination.
The candidates who are having the qualification of PHD they will get additional 5% of relaxation.
If a candidate didn’t find the subject who she/he is trying to apply they are suggested to apply on the regular UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR which is conducted early twice.
Age Limits for TNSET Examination:
There is no specific age relaxation for the Tamil Nadu Assistant Professors State Eligibility Test.

For General candidates exam fee is Rs.1500/- and for the candidates of BC/MBC/DNC examination fees is Rs.1250/- . For the candidates of SC/ST/PWD examination fees is Rs.500/-.

The TNSET Exam will be consists of three papers having objective type questions. TNSET Exam will be held in August 2021 in two different sessions.
TNSET Consists of two different papers.
Session 1-Paper-1-100 Marks-50 Questions(2 Marks Each)-60 Minutes
Session 2-Paper-2-200 Marks-100 Questions(2 Marks Each)-120 Minutes
