There are many vacancies available under Group X Technical and Group Y Non Technical Posts of Airmen. Only respective state candidates are eligible for these vacancies.
IAF Recruitment Age limits for Airmen Selection Test:
Candidates must have born in between 16-Jan-2001 and 29-Dec-2004
Educational Qualifications for Indian Air Force Airmen Recruitment Selection Test:
For Airmen Selection the candidates must have Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. OR Three year polytechnic Diploma course in Engineering (Electronics / Automobile / Mechanical / Electrical / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma OR Passed two year vocational course affiliated / recognized by CBSE
Pay Scale for Airmen Jobs in Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021:
During Training Stipend for Group X and Group Y posts is Rs.14600/-
After training salary will be
Group ‘X’ Trades Rs.33,100/- and other allowances
Group ‘Y’ Trades. Rs. 26,900/- and other allowances

Selection Process for IAF Airmen Recruitment 2021:
All India Selection Tests are conducted at the Airmen Selection Centers (ASCs) approved in respective state. Selection process will be in different stages.
1. IAF Airmen Jobs Written Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
Candidates who are qualifies PFT they have to attend the written test on same day.
Written Test Paper will be given in English & Hindi Languages
Written test duration is 45 minutes consists two papers.

All candidates who pass the Written Test will have to undertake Adaptability Test-1 which is to assess suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions.
3. Physical Fitness Test:
Running-1.6 km to be cleared in 7 min 30 seconds(For IAF Security 05:40 Minutes)

4. Adaptability Test 2:
Here candidates comprehension or communication ability will be tested.
Medical Test:
Candidates who are qualified Adaptability test for them Medical Test will be conducted in June/July 2020.
