Age limits for GSSSB Jamadar, Inspector Vacancies Recruitment 2017:
For the post of Jamadar upper age limit is 33 years and for Inspector jobs upper age limit is 35 years as on 18-11-2017. For female candidates of all categories, SC/ST and BC candidates age relaxations are applicable as per the norms.
Educational Qualifications for Gujarat Jamadar and Inspector Govt Jobs in Prohibition & Abkari Dept:
For Jamadar Class III Jobs-12th or 10+2 qualification, Computer Knowledge certificate and knowledge or Gujarati or Hindi Language.
For Inspector Class III Jobs-Degree with Computer knowledge certificate and Hindi or Gujarti Language knowledge is required.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus f or GSSSB Inspector, Jamadar Vacancy Recruitment Notification 2017:
Preliminary Exam Pattern:
Preliminary Exam will be conducted for 100 marks. Topics or syllabus or prelims exam is General Knowledge only. Exam duration is 1 hour. Minimum qualifications for Prelim Exam is 40%.
Candidates who are qualified they are only eligible for attending the Physical Screening tests.
Physical Screening Test for Jamadar Jobs:
(A) For Male Candidate 800 meters Running to be completed In 5 Minutes
(B) For Female Candidate Running 400 meters In 3 Minutes
(c) For Ex- Serviceman Running 1200 meters In 8 Minutes
Physical Screening Test for Inspector Jobs:
(1) Male candidates have to finish Running of 1600 meters In 8 minutes
(2) Female candidates Running 800 meters to be completed In 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Mains Exam Pattern for GSSSB Recruitment 2017:
Mains exam will be conducted for qualifiers for physical tests. Main Exam duration is one hour and total marks are 100. Topics to be covered in written exam is
1 Gujarati 35-Marks
2 English 30-Marks
3 General Knowledge 35-Marks
