Available Vacancies in Directorate of Transport Andaman and Nicobar:

There are total 103 vacancies available in this recruitment of Andaman & Nicobar Transport.

Bus Driver:49 Posts (Gen-28, OBC-18, ST-03)

Bus Conductor: 64 Posts (Gen-30, OBC-20, ST-04)

Age Limits:

For male 18 to 33 Years

For Female 18 to 38 Years

Educational Qualification:

For Conductor-10 th pass and two years experience as a conductor in Private Transport

For Driver-10th pass and must have valid driving license with at least 3 years of experience in Driving.

Selection Process :

For Conductor-Written test will be conducted for 70 marks and for experience 30 marks

Syllabus for Written Test:

1. Mathematics- Upto 8th Std

2. General Knowledge-Knowledge of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, National Geography and Current Affairs etc

3. General English- Upto 8th Std (Grammar, word meaning, usages etc.)

4. General Aptitude-Motion diagrams, arrows, circles etc.

For Driver-Trade test will be conducted for 70 marks and for experience 30 marks

Trade test will be driving and knowledge about the motor mechanism and minor defects knowledge.

Pay Scale:

For Conductor – Rs. 5200 – 20200/- With 1800/-

For Driver – Rs.5200 -20200/- with 1900/- Grade Pay .
