 TSPSC adds 141 Junior Assistant posts of BC Gurukulams

TSPSC Group-4 Update 2023: The number of unemployed and job seekers applying for group-IV posts in the state is on the rise. A total of 741159 candidates had applied till January 28, when the deadline ends on January 31. The TSPSC commission expects a large number of applications to come in the last two days. TSPSC is advising the candidates to apply in advance without waiting till the last minute. In 2018 more than 4 lakh people had applied for group-IV notification across the state. The commission expects the number to be close to nearly nine lakh by the last date this time.

TSPSC has added another 141 posts in the Group-IV job advertisement. On January 27, the government had granted permission for 141 junior assistant posts falling under group-IV services under bc gurukul society. Following this, the BC Gurukula Society sent proposals for the recruitment of the posts. TSPSC has issued an addendum to the Job Notification 19/2022, adding 141 posts in addition to the existing 8039 posts in the Group-IV Job Advertisement. With these posts, the total number of posts in Group-IV has gone up to 8180. There are 86 posts in BC gurukulam boys' vidyalayas and 55 posts in girls' vidyalayas under bc gurukula society. As per government rules, only women are eligible to apply for the posts in gurukul girls' schools. The degree is mentioned in the annexure as the minimum qualification for these posts. Candidates who have already applied under Group-IV will be considered as having applied for these posts as well, the commission said.
