SBI Youth for India Fellowship Details
Selected students need to work in rural areas. They should study specifically education, medicine, women empowerment, technology, environmental protection, food security, rural life, traditional arts, self-government, social entrepreneurship, water and alternative electricity. NGOs working with SBI Youth for India will direct these fellows. NGO centres will help the candidates understand the task entrusted to them on the ground. Then the fellows have to work according to the program’s goal.
What is the duration of SBI Youth for India Fellowship?
As part of this programme, SBI Youth for India will operate two work shops.
Fellows discuss the work done and the difficulties faced. Experts suggest solutions to them.
Fellow needs to select a member of the local community or NGO to take over from him in the final stages of the program.
They should be entrusted with the responsibility and complete the fellowship. This total program duration is 13 months.
Stipend for SBI Fellowship:
A stipend of Rs.15,000 per month is given for accommodation. Rs.1,000 per month is paid for local travel expenses.
Those who have successfully completed the fellowship will receive Rs.50,000 in the form of other allowances.
There is a medical insurance facility along with these.

Selection Procedure for SBI Fellowship program:
The selection procedure for the Youth for India Fellowship program is in three methods. Choices are made based on preliminary application, online assessment, personality assessment & interview.
First, candidates have to provide online assessment on the topics asked by the selection board in the
second phase after applying with their details. This includes steps to be taken for rural development and candidate’s suggestions will be asked. Then there will be personality assessment & interview with selection board. The final options are based on these.
