SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2017: 
Staff Selection Commission has been released notification to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination for recruiting the various posts of Group B and Group C in government departments of India. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 15-04-2017.
Online applications only accepted by Staff Selection Commission. There are plenty of vacancies available in Staff Selection Commission. Selection will be held in two stages. Tier I exam will be conducted and followed by Tier II exam. For required posts Trades test and Physical tests will be conducted. Government Jobs of Staff Selection Commission CGL Examination 2017:

SSC CGLE 2017 will be conducted in four stages. SSC CGL 2017 Tier I is a computer based examination which will be conducted from 19th June 2017 to 02nd July 2017 at designated testing centers across the country. Only selected candidates in Tier I Exam will be allowed to appear SSC CGL 2017 Tier II which is online mode exam scheduled to be conducted from 5th September to 8th September 2017. SSC CGL 2017 Tier III is a descriptive exam will be held on 12th November 2017 and Tier IV will be scheduled in December for accessing candidate's skills as per the applied post.

SSC CGL 2017 will be conducted to fill up approx 4000 posts in Central Vigilance Commission, Ministry of Railway, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of External Affairs, Central Secretariat Service, Controller General of Account etc. In order to secure high rank in merit list, candidates have to qualify all stages of SSC CGL 2017 recruitment exam with high marks.

ELIGIBILITY Criteria: Candidate should have minimum age of 18 years and graduation degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for this SSC CGL exam 2017. The application form of SSC CGL 2017 can be filled only through online mode from March 11 to April 15, 2017. Candidates are required to read the official notification of SSC CGL 2017 before filling the application form online.



Age Limits for SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2017:

As per latest updated notification age limit date is extended to 01-08-2017 which is approved by government of India.
  • Sub-Inspector (CBN): 18 to 25 years
  • Assistant in Excise / Tax Assistant in CBEC: 20- 27 years
  • Sub-Inspector in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI): 20- 30 years
  • Assistant in the Bureau of Intelligence: 21- 27 years
  • Assistant & Enforcement Officer / SI in NIA: 30 years
  • Statistical investigator: 32 years
  • The rest of the post: 18 to 27 years
  • Age relaxation is available for reservation candidates. For SC/ST 5 years and for OBC 3 years given. For PH candidates 10 years of age relaxation is given.

Exam Fees for SSC CGLE 2017 Recruitment:

There are no exam fees for Women, SC, ST, PhD, ex-serviceman candidates. For other Rs.100/- candidates can pay through offline or online using credit/debit card or net banking.

Educational Qualifications for SSC CGLE 2017 Recruitment:

Assistant Audit Officer:
a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute
b) Desirable Qualifications for the Post of Assistant Audit Officer: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
Statistical Officer: Must have post graduation in statistics. 10 + 2 with 60% marks in mathematics. (Or) Must have studied statistics is one of the subject in graduation level.
Compiler:  Economics, Statistics, and Mathematics any one subject should have studied at graduation level.
For all the other posts a graduation from a recognized university or institution.
For the post of CSS assistant, computer proficiency test is compulsory.



Pay Scale for Staff Selection Commission CGLE 2017 Recruitment:

For Group B posts pay scale is Rs.9300-34800 with the Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-
For Group C posts pay scale is Rs.5200-20200/- with the Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-

Scheme of the Examination for Combined Graduate Level Examination SSC CGLE 2017:

The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:
Tier -I - Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -II -- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -III --- Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification

Mode of Exam: Tier I & II – Online Mode, Tier III – Offline Mode.

SSC CGL 2017 Tier I Exam Pattern:

Tier I: Written Examination (Objective Type) divided in to 4 sections, each consists of 25 Multiple Choice Questions (Each question carry 2 marks), Total Marks- 50, Negative Marking for each wrong Answer is 0.50.
i. General Awareness (25 MCQs- 50 marks).
ii. General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 MCQs- 50 marks).
iii. English Comprehension (25 MCQs- 50 marks).
iv. Quantitative Aptitude (25 MCQs- 50 marks).

SSC CGL 2017 Tier II Exam Pattern:

Tier II: Written Examination (Objective Type) consists of 4 papers, each paper carry 200 marks, Negative Marking for each wrong Answer is 0.50.
Paper I: Quantitative Ability (200 marks- 2 hrs).
Paper II: Language & Comprehension (200 marks- 2 hrs).
Paper III: Statistics (For Statistical Investigator Post) (200 marks- 2 hrs).
Paper IV: Finance & Accounts and Economics & Governance (For Assistant Audit Officer in C & AG) (200 marks- 2 hrs). 
Paper I & II are Compulsory for all candidates.

Quantitative Aptitude:
Questions will be designed to test candidate ability of number and number sense. This Quantitative Aptitude requires practice. Try to solve previous year’s question papers and take online test series to check your performance. This will comprises Fractions and relationship between number, decimals, Percentage ratio and proportions, square roots, Interest, profit & Loss, Partnership Business, Mixture & Allegation, Algebra & Elementary surds, Regular polygons, Circle and its chords, Standard Identities etc.

English Grammar:
This section will test the candidate knowledge in English, Basic comprehension and writing ability. This paper contains 65-70% questions on grammar only. Questions will be based on verb agreement, active passive voices, Spot the error, use of preposition, Synonyms, direct indirect speech, Spelling/ detecting mis spelt words etc. idioms and phrases also asked for about 10-15 marks.

Reasoning Ability:
This section would include both verbal and non verbal type of questions. Questions include the topics analogies, Space Visualization, Similarities and differences, Judgment, Problem solving, Observation, arithmetical reasoning, relationship concepts, non verbal series etc.
